Please join us tonight as our Chat/Film Viewing will feature “Charlie Chan in Egypt” starring Warner Oland, as we continue our month-long celebration of the release of the “Charlie Chan Collection, Volume 1” DVD box set from 20th Century-Fox! All this month, we will be focusing on the films contained in this handsomely produced collection. In this adventure, Charlie Chan follows tracks a murderer among the ancient ruins in Luxor, Egypt, where the supernatural seems to be taking an ominous part in the ultimate destiny of the victims.
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very fine film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
