A pleasant and restful Labor Day to all. Please join us for our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing which will feature “Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo,” starring Warner Oland, in what was, sadly, to be his final appearance on screen. As Charlie Chan and Number One Son, Lee are on their way to an important art exhibition in Paris, a short stop in Monte Carlo becomes much more, as a case of financial intrigue and murder requires otherwise!

We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very fine film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
