Please join us as our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing for “Charlie Chan in Honolulu,” starring Sidney Toler in his first appearance as Charlie Chan. In this adventure, son Jimmy tries to prove his worth as a budding detective as he and his famous Pop seek to uncover the identity of a murderer who lurks aboard a freighter in Honolulu. All of this and the birth of the Chan’s first grandchild!
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
