Yes, the Ross Mortin Charlie Chan movie, "The Return of Charlie Chan" is available on DVD, although the availability is limited to "Grey market" sellers. As I see very little chance of this situation changing, you might try one of those sellers. On occasion, I see one available on eBay, and, I am fairly certain that Doug Palmer, who runs "Tory's Mystery Movies" (please find the link, if interested, at our "Links" page) offers this film on DVD.
I've. If interested, pls. email Me @:

I'd like to read a critique by anyone who has actually seen the Ross Martin film. I vaguely recall having seen it on TV, but have no outstanding memory of it.
Ross Martin's Chan film. It has been a long time since I saw it. As I recall, Ross played it really "Grin and bow". That is to say he overplayed the stereotype a good bit. Kind of like J. Carrol Naish's portrayal or the radio actors you might've heard such as Ed Begley. The story was a typical 1970s TV movie. Solid in plot and direction. I don't recall specifics of the story or solution. Ross Martin, being the fine performer he was, did a credible job. It was, as best I remember, worth a watch.
