Let's throw a hypothetical scenario out there. Why not? It's always fun.
Fox releases every Chan film in their library on DVD in 6 box sets. MGM has already done so. Warner tries for a while but late in 2009, they abandon the project. Most people who are on the up-and-up have 31 movies available to them. Would you go to the gray market and finish your collection?
I reluctantly would. I have said it before and I will say it again: I am a completist. I like the idea of having all the Chan films that are known to exist. However, I would, however, like to make sure that the movies I pick up are of decent quality, and not just something that could be done on a kitchen cutting room floor.
