Tonight's Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "The Black Camel" (8PM, EDT)
Happy Labor Day! This evening, our Monday Chat and Film Viewing movie will be “The Black Camel,” starring Warner Oland, as we begin our month-long celebration of the release of volume three of "The Charlie Chan Collection". “Who killed Shelah Fane?” This is the question being asked from Honolulu to Hollywood as Charlie Chan seeks to uncover the identity of the murderer who ended the life of the film actress in her Waikiki beach house.
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
