Our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing movie will Meeting at Midnignt (“Black Magic”),” starring Sidney Toler as we begin our month of “spooky” Charlie Chan movies! In our film for this week, Chan seeks, with the aid of daughter Frances as well as Birmingham Brown, to uncover the truth behind the strange events surrounding the death of a psychic.
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
