Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "Charlie Chan in Honolulu"
Please join us for our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing as we gather together to celebrate the recent release of the “Charlie Chan Collection, Volume 4” from 20th Century-Fox as we watch and discuss “Charlie Chan in Honolulu,” featuring the first appearance of Sidney Toler as Charlie Chan. In this adventure, we see the whole Chan family as we are introduced to Number Two Son, Jimmy who helps his famous Pop find the murderer who has killed a passenger aboard the freighter ‘Susan B. Jennings.’ Odd characters abound in this thriller.
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
