Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "Charlie Chan in Reno"
Please join us for our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing as we gather together to continue our celebration of the recent release of the “Charlie Chan Collection, Volume 4” from 20th Century-Fox. This time we will watch and discuss “Charlie Chan in Reno,” as we follow Charlie Chan and son, Jimmy, to Reno, “The Biggest Little City in the World,” and, at that time, also the divorce capital of “same.” Did the wife of a close friend of Mr. Chan really commit murder, and will the great detective and his son be able to prove her innocence?
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
