Everyone watches their own copies of the movie. The start time is synchronized so that we see the same thing at the same time.

I think you will have a good time within the welcoming confines of our Chat Room. As Steve mentioned, we view Chan films together each Monday evening through the use of personal copies (DVDs or tapes). We start "rolling" our copies at the same time and comment on the action as the film progresses. If anyone does not have a copy of the film for that evening, he or she is never left out of the ongoing conversation.
