Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "Charlie Chan in London"
Please join us for our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing as we gather together to watch and “Charlie Chan in London.” Starring Warner Oland. This is the second-oldest film available for viewing from the Charlie Chan series proper. We can see much character development from that seen in “The Black Camel,” which is separated from “London” by three “lost” movies. In this picture, Charlie Chan, while in London, must race the clock to prove the innocence of a man condemned to hang in a matter of hours.
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
