In that case . . . why not use chopped tomatoes, olives of your choice, potatoes, celery, carrots, or whatever veggie of your choice?!?!
I used to do a cheese version of this, spreading mustard first. You could cook up and then chop up some bacon . . . . You could do a pizza or taco version, making sure you drain the grease off . . . .
Heck, the variations are endless!!
