Tonight, we continue our chronological journey through the Charlie Chan series. Please join us for our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing as we gather together to watch and discuss “Charlie Chan in Egypt,” starring Warner Oland. Charlie Chan has departed from his successful work in Paris, heading south to the mystical Land of the Pharaohs, now assisting the French Archeological Society. As he seeks to discover why certain artifacts promised to the Society have appeared on the black market, Mr. Chan finds following a sinister and dangerous trail of death and ancient curses…
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
