Was Roland Winters ever interviewed about his participation in the Charlie Chan Films?
Since ROLAND WINTERS lived until 1989, I am curious if was ever interviewed about his participation in the MONOGRAM CHARLIE CHAN films and what was his view of the character as well as his interpetation? Kind of curious, since KEYE LUKE had been interviewed about his participation in the CHARLIE CHAN films.

I've checked out that very fine article on Roland Winters in the Study. It mentions many of his Chan films and "escape" of typecasting. However, I guess the answer to the question of whether Roland Winters was interviewed about the films and his role in them is "No". (At least as far as we know)
