I'm sorry that I had to leave last night's chat room early.

The thunderstorm that arrived was bad enough to cause the local weather stations to break in the shows . . . . There was some talk of tornadoes and flash floods.

What we had a problem with was the new leafgard gutter that we got recently. It fell down on the job last night and the rain water came inching up on our front porch--and maybe under the front door. That's the first time that's happened here in some 35 years.

Not to mention the fact that the rain was continuing most of the night and heavily enough that we had to get up several times to check the front door.

That's not to mention the thunder waking us up twice!!

Dear Chan Fans: I am sorry I Haven't been around of late. That 'cold" I had a few weeks ago turned out to be a repertory infection. My doctor had me getting an X-Ray, CAT scan and even a blood test. The antibiotics and now a steroid inhaler seem to have finally cleared up the problem and almost totally eliminated the nagging cough. That and lots of liquids rest and recuperation. I Hope to be with you again soon.
