Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "Castle in the Desert"
Please plan on joining us for our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing as we meet to watch and discuss “Castle in the Desert,” starring Sidney Toler. With this picture, we reach an important point in our tour through the entire Charlie Chan series. This is the final film in the 20th Century-Fox era of the Charlie Chan series. In this film, Charlie Chan and Number Two Son, Jimmy, search the eerie confines of a mysterious and deadly castle in the Mojave Desert for the identity of an elusive murderer. However, will they survive to find the answer?
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
