Tonight's Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "Docks of New Orleans"
This evening we continue our group trip through the entire Charlie Chan series as we watch and discuss “Docks of New Orleans,” starring Roland Winters in his second appearance as Charlie Chan. In New Orleans, a wealthy man fears for his life and visits Charlie Chan. The next day, as Chan comes to visit him in his office, he finds him mysteriously dead. Natural causes…or murder?
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
