Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "The Golden Eye"
This evening we draw ever nearer to the finish line of our group trip through the entire Charlie Chan series, we will be watching and discussing “The Golden Eye,” starring Roland Winters. Charlie chan, Number Two Son, Tommy, and Birmingham Brown (not to mention Lt. Mike Ruark), work together to solve murders in the Golden Eye mine in Arizona. Why did this mine suddenly start producing high grade gold ore?
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
