Does anyone remember the rock and roll record from 1959 by a group called THE SOUNDS with a song called
Charlie Chan? It was on the SARG record label out of Luling, Texas. The lead vocalist on the record was a singer by the name of Charles Sanders. According to the record label, the song was written by Herbert McKinney and Nasty Lott. The flip side of the record was called Life written by Charles Sanders and Irv Hosey. The record was produced by a man by the name of Charlie Fitch. It seems to be that a lot of people were involved in the making of this record whose first name was Charlie.
