The Charlie Chan Mystery Tour in Honolulu

The world-famous detective Charlie Chan is missing! Nobody knows where he is. The intent of the tour is to find people who knew Inspector Chan, circa 1910s-1930s, and locate his whereabouts.

Through a three-hour walking tour, the Charlie Chan Mystery Tour investigates sites associated with Charlie Chan, including Chang Apana's old Chinatown neighborhood and the piers adjacent to Aloha Tower Marketplace.

By means of a series of clues and historical notes, the tour guests visit the sites frequented by Chang Apana, Earl Derr Biggers, and the cast and crew of the movie "The Black Camel" (1931).

The Charlie Chan Mystery Tour is a two-mile walk through downtown Honolulu, Chinatown, and the Aloha Tower Marketplace. The tour visits the sites of former police stations, coffee shops, gambling houses, movie theaters, and the residence of Number One Son.

The Charlie Chan Mystery Tour premieres on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in downtown Honolulu. After it's premiere, the tour will be presented by scheduled appointment through Mr. Fredrick's website.

Re: The Charlie Chan Mystery Tour in Honolulu

Dear Steve,

Best wishes for a very successful premiere the Sunday after next. I wish I could be there on the first one, but, hopefully I will be able to take part on some future "expedition."

Sincerely,
Rush

Re: The Charlie Chan Mystery Tour in Honolulu

I have taken another tour hosted by Steve. It was very informative and a lot of fun. While I have not taken any of his new tours, based upon my previous experience I can tell you that you will have a good time.

Now I just need to find a way to get back to Honolulu so that I can take his new tours.

Steven
