Sorry I missed Monday nights chat, but my laptop finally went down and I was forced into purchasing a new one. Trust me, it's NEVER a good time to buy a new computer!
I'm trying to get my new laptop up and running, but I'm having trouble getting Java (our chat room) to load. I keep getting the following message in our chat room:
"Sorry, your browser is not Java enabled, please visit our java support pages"
My new laptop is Vista and I'm thinking that it may have something to do with it, but I'm really not sure. I'm fairly computer literate, but I'm at my "Whits End". I've tried everything I can think of, for the past several days, but I still can't get Java up and running.
I'm hoping that someone in our Chan family has experienced what I am going through and can help me. Please feel free to e-mail me at my address above if you have any ideas.
I hope to Java working soon, but if you don't see me on Monday night again, you'll know why :-(
