Tonight's Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "The Black Camel"
This evening, our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing takes us to Waikiki as we move on with our second journey through the entire Charlie Chan series. Our film will be “The Black Camel,” starring Warner Oland in his second outing as Charlie Chan. “Who killed Shelah Fane?” That is the question that the world, as well as Charlie Chan’s family, asks as the detective works to solve a mystery with many quirks in his own backyard of Honolulu.
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
