This week, for our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing, we will continue our journey with Charlie Chan as he flies into Egypt at the behest of the French Archeological Society. It seems that some artifacts from the newly discovered tomb of Ahmeti, promised to that organization, have been turning up on the black market, and Charlie Chan has agreed to help find the answer to this mystery. Suddenly, however, murder becomes the focus of his investigation! Join us, please, as we watch all of the action in “Charlie Chan in Egypt.”

We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.

I'm hoping to be in the chat room tonight after being a no-show last week but we are having a week of rain storms here.

I took a break in the rain to post this that I'm hoping to be there tonight but if you hear any loud gurgling from this direction . . . get the lifeboats out!!
