Re: I remember Charlie

Dear Dick,

WELCOME!

You are in luck as most (all but 11) Charlie Chan movies are available today on commercially produced DVDs from 20th Century-Fox and MGM Home Entertainment. They can be found at local retail stores, as well as at warehouse outlets such as Costco. You can also purchase them over the Internet.

Have you taken our monthly poll for this month? It asks where you first saw a Charlie Chan movie, and, from your message, it appears that you first watched Chan on television. As you stated that they were aired foll, owing the late news, they were probably the Monogram Pictures Chan films which starred Sidney Toler and, later, Roland Winters as Charlie Chan.

Sincerely,
Rush Glick

Re: I remember Charlie

Hi Rush and Welcome to Our Family Dick!

I keep forgetting to mention how much I enjoyed this months poll/question Rush. I read it and think about how lucky the people were, who actually had the true honor to see their first Charlie Chan film in a movie theater! I'm so envious.

Again, great question Rush and welcome Dick!

Matt
