Please join us for our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing as we watch and discuss “Dark Alibi,” starring Sidney Toler. Once again in his career, Charlie Chan must work to free an innocent man from a wrongful execution. A boarding house full of possible suspects and intrigue within the walls of a prison present a series of perplexing clues. Can Mr. Chan, helped by son, Tommy and assistant, Birmingham Brown, solve this case before the hour of execution arrives?
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
