Tonight's Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "The Feathered Serpent"

As we near the conclusion of our trip through the entire Charlie Chan series, please join us for our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing we watch and discuss “The Feathered Serpent,” starring Roland Winters. This is a VERY unique entry in the Chan series, as both Number One and Two sons appear together for the only time! (Actually, this DID happen earlier in the series in a minor, way in “Charlie Chan’s Greatest Case” as Number One Son, OSWALD worked with his younger brother toward the end of the film.) In tonight’s movie, we see Charlie Chan, Lee, Second Son, “Tommy,” and assistant Birmingham Brown work together on what may, perhaps, be called the most off-beat adventure in the Great Detective’s long career!
We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
