Whle I haven't finished the first chapter, I thought that you all might want to visit old friends in the prologue that sets the stage for the Chan family taking on a case that starts in San Francisco and ends Texas . . . where murder and assorted other mayhem is threatening to run amuck and end the Chan family.
The prologue not only includes Charlie but his offspring Lee, Tommy, Frances and Gloria . . . plus Charlie's godchild, Jade Wong, who is the damsel in distress come calling for help from Charlie Chan, Inc.
