In the first Charlie Chan movies, Mr. Chan drove a 1919 Ford Model T touring car. If you watch "The Black Camel," you can see it. In the "lost" film, "Charlie Chan's Greatest Case," a grateful Minerva Winterslip gives Charlie Chan a brand new 1933 Ford touring car. You can see Mr. Chan and the family riding in it at the top of this page. In later years, Chan rode in other cars, but these two were the "classics."
