To all film fans of Charlie Chan, here is a great discovery.
After 42 years, the documentary, "The Great Charlie Chan," made in 1968, has been found. The "lost" film was recently discovered by Harvey Chertok, the former vice-president for advertising, promotion and publicity at Warner Brothers-Seven Arts.

This is wonderful news and hopefully this will be released for our viewing pleasure soon. It also provides our Chan family with continued hope, for the possibility of "lost" films to turn up in the future.

hey, hey GREAT NEWS! I hope it comes to video as well, possibly if TCM can release another DVD set with the remaining Roland Winter Chans, this would be a great inclusion.
