Well in thinking about the actors who all played the "sons" in helping to crack the cases, why not sound off who was your "favorite" among them.

Sons for consideration are...

Keye Luke as Lee Chan aka #1 Son
Sen Yung as Jimmy Chan aka #2 Son (don't consider the alternate of Tommy please)
Benson Fong as Tommy Chan aka #3 Son
Edwin Luke as Eddie Chan aka #4 Son

For me, my favorite son was Sen Yung. I would pick Keye Luke/Lee Chan, but Jimmy was out to be really supportive and had a zeal to impress pop like none other. Though my favorite Chan is Oland, my favorite Son is number 2 son.

My favorite would be Jimmy as well followed closely by Charlie Chan Jr!! I think the way Sen Yung played the character gave him a normal son like way about him. The same with Layne Tom in a kid style that closely mimiced himself(if you saw the disc set comments).

Lee was to grown up IMHO more a adult then child.
