James Hong, an actor who has graced the screen in so many films and who has appeared often on television as well will be at the Hollywood Show for three days: April 23-25, 2010. Mr. Hong is also connected with Charlie Chan lore, as he portrayed Chan's Number One Son, Barry, on the 1957 television series, The New Adventures of Charlie Chan alongside J. Carrol Naish who played the famous detective.

The Hollywood Show will take place at the Burbank Airport Marriott Hotel & Convention Center 2500 North Hollywood Way Burbank, California 91505. If you are in the area, you may want to treat yourself to this chance to meet not only a film legend, but a part of Charlie Chan history!

How wonderful to have the opportunity to meet James Hong. He's one of my favorite character actors.

Last year, I purchased the DVD set of the Charlie Chan TV series featuring Mr. Hong. There is nice chemistry between J. Carrol Naish and Mr. Hong. He adds greatly to this crime drama TV series, circa 1957-58.
