Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo"

Please consider joining with us for this week’s Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing as we watch and discuss “Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo,” starring Warner Oland, in his final appearance as Charlie Chan. In this adventure, Chan and Number One Son, Lee, arrive at Monte Carlo as they make their way to Paris for an art exhibition which will include at least one painting by Lee. While at Monte Carlo, father and son become intimately involved in a case of murder and intrigue in the world of investments.

We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.

Our Chat Room is located HERE at our Charlie Chan Family Home. Please use any of the “Chat Room” links to join us.

Even if you do not happen to have a copy of our featured movie, please do join us, as you will NOT be left out of our ongoing chat and festivities. Also, as is our custom, newcomers are offered the seat of honor at our humble table.

So, let’s get together for yet another fun Monday evening as we gather to watch “Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo.”

(PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to receive weekly email announcements regarding our Monday Evening Chats, as well as receive high-quality scanned movie still images (one per week) from our films of the week, please email us at: charliechanfamily@yahoo.com)

Sincerely,
Rush Glick

Re: Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo"

Rush,
I've come up with a recipe for tonight's movie . . . Crab Monte Carlo, plus crab bisque, a champagne punch and the recipe that I came up with last week: Iced Frsoties. Just click on my website to go to the at page.

Monte Carlo is a great movie but it turned out to be Warner Oland's farewell performance from the silver screen.

I just wanted to make his last appearance something special!
