Seems Like a New Charlie Chan book Comes in August this year
I have been trying to watch and see if TCM would give any indication they are going to release the last of the Roland Winter Chan movies in a boxed set, and I haven't seen anything yet at some of my favorite havens. Though tonight I saw where a "book" titled Charlie Chan is coming out this August. I have a link. If you notice towards the bottom of the page in the middle of the last row, there is an item without a picture that is titled Charlie Chan. Well I clicked that and it took me to the web order page, and across the top, it indicates in the URL tree that it is a book.

The book that will be coming out in August is entitled "Charlie Chan: The Untold Story of the Honorable Detective and his Rendezvous with American History." The author is Yuente Huang. It is a study of Charlie Chan, the character, I believe, and could be an interesting study.
