Through blind luck, I have re-discovered the Charlie Chan films I used to enjoy on television so many years ago. Thanks to Netflix, I have seen five so far.
1. Charlie Chan in Panama (love all the characters and setting)
2. Charlie Chan Murder Cruise (scenes on the boat are great, that fog is scary enough!)
3. Charlie Chan on Treasure Island (great story)
4. Charlie Chan at the Wax Museum (creepy!)
5. Murder Over New York(this one didn't do much for me)
Glad to have found this website and look forward to seeing more Charlie Chan films...
Are you in for a treat with the rest of the Chan Series!
I hope you will consider coming to our Monday Night Chat Room here. It starts at 8 PM (Eastern) and we each start our own copies of that night's movie at 8:30 PM (Eastern).
If you don't have that night's movie, come anyway 'cause we cover lots of topics besides Charlie Chan!
You bring up a very good suggestion for those who have few or none of the Charlie Chan series at their personal disposal. As you indicate, Netflix offers a great resource to obtain Chan movies for either personal viewing or participation in our weekly chat sessions (during which we view the films from the series together), or BOTH!
