The Vintage Playhouse recently released all 48 Bowery Boys films on DVD.
I believe they are on sale for $119 plus postage.
At first I was kinda skeptical about ordering from them.
However, they arrived in 3 days via priority mailand e-mail confirmation.
The Bowery Boys series has never been on DVD before and covers all films from 1946 to 1958. They came out after The East Side Kids ended around 1945.
Quality of these copies is Good to Fair with some flaws which are to be expected from copies from the TV.
It's good to see the Bowery Boys again and Louie's Sweet Shop.
Of course the Charlie Chans are my favorites!
