I am selling the 1955 Packard Convertible that was owned at one time by Charlie Chan. It is still white in color and in in exceptional shape. Just wondering if it might be of interest to anybody. We would appreciate any comments.

I think that we would all be interested to hear a clarification on how your car was "owned by Charlie Chan." Do you mean it was owned by actor Roland Winters who played Charlie Chan in the final six films in the series? Was it owned by the actor who portrayed Chan in the 1957-58 TV series, J. Carrol Naish? Or...?
We are still trying to find the exact papers (we know we have them on the original bill of sale )that state that Naish was the original owner of the car. We remember it was the TV actor Charlie Chan. Sorry this is taking so long, quite a few file cabinets to go through and the purchaser has passed away years ago.
TYSM!!! Title would be the deal closer on this car. The original title copy should be on microfiche at DMV. That would be easy from the state. I had a 1963 car I purchased with original title, state made a copy and gave me the new title.
I have the title that got renewed when the car was purchased with registration numbers and title numbers. I spoke with DMV and they said no names can be given out? This is frustrating because both men who have owned this car have passed away. Is there a way you can help me with this matter? I would be willing to talk with you and give you the numbers if you think that would help.
