I just came across the following link which will allow you to watch Yunte Huang, author of "Charlie Chan: The Untold Story of the Honorable Detective and His Rendezvous with American History" on C-SPAN.
It's a one hour spot and can be accessed on the right side of the screen. I haven't had a chance to view it yet, but thought our honorable family here may be interested.
For some reason, the link I posted isn't being posted completely. I'm hoping you'll be able to copy and paste at least part of it and be able to find it from there. Hopefully, Charlie Chan has rubbed off on us and we're able to solve the mystery of the missing link! I apologize for any confusion/frustration!
It is so wonderful to hear (and see) good news in the form of the acceptance of Yunte Huang's unique assessment of Charlie Chan. After so many years of a more-than-willing media promoting the negative ravings of misguided special interest groups, what a refreshing change to see that same media seemingly reverse itself. In my humble opinion, Professor Huang should be thanked unceasingly by all Chan fans!
