The honorable James Hong, the last surviving actor to play Number One Son, will be appearing at "Monster Palooza" April 8 - 10, 2011. Location: The Marriott Burbank Hotel & Convention Center.

On Saturday, April 9th, Mr. Hong hosts his special one-man show: The Hong Show, An Evening with James Hong. The Marriott Hotel Ballroom @ 8:00 P.M. Admission: $15.00 per person.

Last year, Rush and I had the wonderful opportunity to see Mr. Hong present his one-of-a-kind show in Honolulu. He's worked with everybody in "the biz," from Lucille Ball and Jack Nicholson to Kurt Russell and Jerry Seinfeld. If you wish to see a master showman at his best, don't miss The Hong Show !!!

BREAKING NEWS. As part of the Hung Show, Mr. James Hong is going to re-create one of the most famous sci-fi fantasy characters in cinema history.

From "Big Trouble in Little China" (1986), Lo Pan [James Hong] is a 2,000 year-old magician who rules the underground city in San Francisco's Chinatown.

It is my understand that a special effect crew (make-up artists, et al.) is going to make-up Mr. Hong LIVE-ON-STAGE during the stage show. This is the first time that Mr. Hong has appeared as Lo Pan since the making of this sci-fi cult film.

As part of the show, Mr. Hong is going to invite audience members to join him on stage in re-creating classic movie scenes.
