We continue our journey through the Charlie Chan film series with this week’s Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing as we watch “Charlie Chan in City in Darkness,” starring Sidney Toler. In Paris ton celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the end of what had been called The Great War, Chan finds the City of Light plunged into darkness as another conflict looms. And amid the turmoil and confusion…murder. For Chan, suspects abound, and danger lurks around every dark corner.
