This stop on our journey through the Charlie Chan film series takes us to “Charlie Chan in Panama,” starring Sidney Toler and featuring Victor Sen Yung. Working for the U.S. government, which will become his full-time occupation fairly soon, Charlie Chan tackles the threat of international espionage which looms darkly over the safe passage of the U.S. fleet through the Panama Canal. Death, intrigue, and hidden danger are ever-present as Chan and Number One Son, Jimmy race the clock to thwart the nefarious machinations of an unseen enemy!
