Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "Charlie Chan at the Wax Museum"

Please join us for our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing as we watch and discuss and share the thrills of “Charlie Chan at the Wax Museum” starring Sidney Toler and featuring Victor Sen Yung as Number Two Son, Jimmy. In this adventure, father and son are, along with a host of suspects, confined within the eerie – and very dangerous! – confines of a crime-centered wax museum! This one is filled with atmosphere so thick that that one can cut it with a knife…in the back, perhaps…

Our Chat Room is located HERE at our Charlie Chan Family Home. Please use any of the “Chat Room” links to join us. We begin with arrivals and greetings at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and we roll our personal copies of our film exactly 30 minutes later.

Even if you do not happen to have a copy of the above-noted film, please do join us anyway, as you will NOT be left out of our ongoing chat and festivities. (Many of our films may be found available for viewing online through such outlets as You Tube, etc.) Also, as is our custom, newcomers are offered the seat of honor at our humble table.

"Thank you so much," and let’s get together for yet another fun Monday evening as we gather to watch “Charlie Chan at the Wax museum.”

IMPORTANT REMINDER…

We will be celebrating the birthday of Keye Luke on our June 13 Chat and Film Viewing by watching him as a young Mr. Wong – his only staring role in a picture – in “Phantom of Chinatown”! If you do not as yet have a copy of this movie (or the others in the very worthy Mr. Wong series, the rest of which star Boris Karloff in the title role), please take this opportunity to purchase it, as the sets are available at very reasonable prices through Amazon.com and other sellers such as DeepDiscount.com. Later in our journey through the Charlie Chan series, we will be watching other Wong films as a point of comparison with the Chan versions of the same storylines!

(PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to receive weekly email announcements regarding our Monday Evening Chats, as well as receive high-quality scanned movie still images (one per week) from our films of the week, please email us at: charliechanfamily@yahoo.com)

Sincerely,
Rush Glick
