Hi everyone, it's time for round two of the Guess the Charlie Chan Movie game. In round 1, Matt was the first to guess the correct movie. DMC also guessed the movie correctly.

Just an overview of the game: a picture of a scene from a Charlie Chan movie (typically one with some kind of clue as to what movie it's from) is posted, along with perhaps a clue or hint, and everyone else must guess which movie the scene is from.

It can be pretty challenging to choose a good scene for the game because you guys know the CC films well. It's hard to know whether the scene chosen is too hard or too easy. I'm hoping the picture I choose won't be too difficult or impossible to guess but at the same time a challenge.

I'll try to make it challenging by starting with just one picture of this particular Charlie Chan movie I watched recently and give a clue. If no one can seem to guess it, I'll add another clue or picture until someone can guess it.

So without further ado, here's the picture. Who will be the first to guess which movie it's from?


Hint: I've heard of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, but in the wrong bed at the wrong time?

"Murder Cruise". This is in the hotel, following the death of character to the right's uncle.

My family is watching the Women's World Cup now, so I can't pop my DVD in, to double check character names, sorry.

Very good, Diana! The big clue might be the house detective (wearing the "other" hat!) of the hotel where the first victim was killed.

Congrats DMC! You're very good at this And here I was wondering if I would have to post another pic to make it a bit more easier.

I would like some feedback from everyone if they would like me to continue this game and if so, when do they think might be a more convenient time to do it. Would perhaps Wed. night (around 8pm EST) be a better choice than on Sunday afternoon?

Also, again if anyone would like to post a round of the game, they are more than welcome to do so. Just post here to let me know in advance that you'd like to post a picture of a scene. Or alternatively, if you rather, you could just post clues to a CC movie without a picture and we can try to guess the movie that way, in case you don't want to go through all the hassle of getting a picture of a scene.

Well, my feedback is that I would love the game to continue. And, as for days, I like the Sunday time.

Sunday afternoons are quiet for us, and I usually check in here on Sunday afternoons.

My husband got the correct answer in the game, too. "Murder Cruise" is one of his favorite Chan movies.

Ok, I'll keep doing the game on Sunday afternoons. I just wasn't sure if maybe people were busy on sundays to play and maybe a weeknight would be more better. If I could, I'd do it maybe twice a week but I don't have the time.

I can't guarantee I'll be able to keep the game going each week though because I'm usually very busy and don't always get the chance to watch a movie

In fact, prior to starting the game, I haven't watched a movie in several weeks. Which is why I keep saying that if others would like to contribute, it's fine by me. I'll let you all know at least a day in advance if I'll have a new game or not though. I'll try to watch another movie Friday night so I can get the game posted again on Sunday.
