Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "The Shanghai Chest"
As we head out of the month of November, the conclusion of our tour through the Charlie Chan series approaches. Please join us for our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing as we watch and discuss “The Shanghai Chest,” starring Roland Winters. In San Francisco, Judge Wesley Armstrong is stabbed to death in his study by an intruder, and Victor Armstrong, the judge's nephew, who has come to see him, is rendered unconscious by the same assailant as he answers the telephone in the study. Can Charlie Chan prove Victor’s innocence and also put a stop the a string of “Alphabet Murders”?
