Our journey together through the entire Charlie Chan film series makes a return to hallowed ground as we return to the warm climes of Charlie Chan’s adopted home, the tropical storied city of Honolulu! Yes, it was not that long ago that we enjoyed “The Black Camel” together in celebration of Detective Chang Apana, but, like a fine wine, is it not worth tasting such a fine vintage again sooner than later?. So now, we circle back quickly to make a return visit as we move on among the road that will take to some wonderful adventures with Charlie Chan during the coming year. Even if we now know “Who killed Shelah Fane?” we get to again follow Chan’s able footsteps, along with those of the sometimes helpful Tarneverro (Bela Lugosi), and Kashimo, Mr. Chan’s pesky helping hand, a role that would be filled by a good number of persons throughout the run of the film series as well as the television series!
