As we continue together through the entire Charlie Chan film series, we have now reached “Charlie Chan at the Race Track,” starring Warner Oland. This is a far-reaching adventure, which begins at the famous Melbourne Cup in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, spans half an ocean to Honolulu, and then onward to Los Angeles. Along the way, we have a developing case of international gambling fraud and murder! Will Charlie Chan and Number One Son, Lee, be around to see the end of the real race which is to solve this series of crimes?
