Hello from Honolulu

Having a great time in Charlie Chan's home town with my family. Wife and daughters are having fun at tthe beach at Waikiki. Hawaii Steve and I were able to engage in a little Chan research today and took a quick drive along Prospect Street on the slopes of Punchbowl Hill - the route taken by Chan and Kashimo as seen in "The Black Camel," seeking to pinpoint the spot where the Chan home would have been located.

Can you post any pictures of the Punchbowl Hill area? I will never make it to Hawaii to see these things for myself, so a picture would be nice !!

You can see some shots of our 2010 visit at our Study section. I'll be adding more images as we come to more precise conclusions as to the spot where the Chan home was located in "The Black Camel."
