This week I discovered that "The Black Camel" (1931 Fox) has been removed from YouTube.com. Copyright infringement was filed by two companies, i.e. Warner Brothers Entertainment and Kit Parker Films.
Upon further inspection, I discovered that three other Chan films have been pulled from YouTube.com. They are: "Charlie Chan's Murder Cruise" (20th Century Fox) "CC and the Secret Service" (Monogram) and "The Scarlet Clue" (Monogram).
Because the films were uploaded from the DVD, instead of film prints, this action violated the DVD copyright, and YouTube pulled them from their service.
"The Trap," a Monogram title, was uploaded to YouTube from a 16mm film print. Please note the film marks and splices. Viewers still have access to this Charlie Chan title.
