Our film for this week’s Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing feature will be “The Trap,” starring Sidney Toler, as we continue along our journey through the Charlie Chan film series. This would be Sidney Toler’s final appearance as Charlie Chan, as, several months following the completion of “The Trap,” the actor would succumb to the ravages of cancer. In this adventure, Charlie Chan, with Number Two Son, Jimmy, and assistant Birmingham Brown, works to solve murders at a Malibu, California beach house.
Our evenings take place at our Charlie Chan Family Home, which is located RIGHT HERE at this site. Please use any of the "Chat Room" links to join us. As always, our Chat Room doors open at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time, for arrivals and greetings. Then, 30 minutes later, we start rolling our copies of “The Trap” at the same counted-down moment, thus allowing us to watch our film together!
Even if you cannot access a copy of the above-noted film, please do join us anyway, as you will NOT be left out of our ongoing chat and festivities.
