A young Warner Oland can be seen as the Police Commissioner in the 1916 silent serial Beatrice Fairfax... not a big role, but he shows up in 2 of the first four chapters (all I've viewed so far). The series is available at SerialSquadron.com

Believe I've seen it for sale there. I got a Tailspin Tommy of theirs it was great quality.

Actually Warner is also in their Patria serial too, As a Jap/later Mex(courtesy of POSTUS Woody Wilson) spy. I remember looking at parts of it
