During the weekend of July 19, the Old Town Music Hall in El Segundo, a proverbial stone's throw south of LAX, fans of Charlie Chan will have an opportunity to watch Charlie Chan at the Wax Museum as it was made to be seen...on the silver screen in a theater with an audience! Showtimes are: Friday (7/19) 8:15 p.m., Saturday (7/20) 2:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., and Sunday (7/21) 2:30 p.m.

Shall we schedule a Charlie Chan Family gathering at one of these showings? A number of us live in Southern California, and a few may have vacation plans bringing them to "same." There are many good restaurants within easy walking distance of the theater, and we could meet there before the film, perhaps. So, everyone, what do you say?

You have NO idea how much I've always wanted to attend such an event! I've been talking about doing this ever since joining our Chan Family several years ago.

Of course, the only week this coming summer I already have plans is this one! I begin our annual family trip to the NJ Shore on the showing date and will not be available to attend.

I am SO disappointed I can not attend (with my tin-can), as seeing Charlie Chan on the "BIG" screen and watching in with our Chan family would be quite special.

I hope there is a great turn out and plenty of pictures are taken of the event and "family" gathering.
